Description
Yale Lary is a star football player at North Side High School. He is a triple threat, playing halfback on offense, defensive back on defense, and the punter on special teams. Lary has missed four weeks early this season due to injury but the Steers' spark plug is expected to return Thursday night against the Paschal Panthers. He is shown running the ball and practicing a stiff arm. He is wearing the number 56 on his uniform. Lary later went on to play in the National Football League (NFL) with the Detroit Lions. He played for eleven seasons and was inducted into the Hall of Fame.
