Babe Didrikson Zaharias, now of Denver, is a favorite at the Texas Women's Open held at the Colonial Country Club, Fort Worth. She is seated and checking her score card. She is the National Women's Amateur, the player to beat, and has won the Open medal with a 71. She is wearing a stripped shirt and a plain skirt. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, October 8, 1946.
