Description
After forty-nine years in the railroad service, A. T. Darnell is set to retire. He is know as "Mr Abe" to railroad people throughout the division. His career began with the Santa Fe Railway in 1903. He is married with five children. One of his boys has followed in Mr. Abe's footsteps and works for the railroad. Mr. Abe plans to devote his retirement full-time to his hobby - raising chickens. He is sitting on a chair, dressed in a suit.
