Description

The Women's Auxiliary is participating in a program to provide cigarettes for veterans. Collecting cigarettes, left to right are Virginia Goodman, Faye Presley, Allie Hinson, Vera Balentine, Roy Ames, Mrs. Ruth Ayres, Voila Whitlock, Ethel Lockwood, Lillian Heard, and Eleanor Ballentine. On Wednesday afternoon, the auxiliary presented cigarettes to 400 patients at the Dallas Veterans Hospital. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, July 18, 1946.
