    Description

    A 16-car train carrying 250 Texas Lions and their wives to Philadelphia for the Lions International convention rolled out of Santa Fe station here Saturday morning. Shown here checking out the fast diesel-engine before the departure are Mrs. Roscoe Gass, left, Dr. Jack Garrison and Mrs. Garrison. All three are from Fort Worth, Texas. Mrs. Gass is standing on the stairs of the train, Mrs. Garrison is seating inside near the window and Dr. Garrison is standing at the train door. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, July 13, 1946.
