Raymond "Rickey" Rowe was selected as the Texas representative of the Brooklyn All-Star Series. The trip to Brooklyn is 16 days, all-expenses paid. Rowe is cooling off with a towel in the clubhouse after impressing Fort Worth Cats manager Ray Hayworth and Brooklyn Dodger scout Wild Mathews. He is wearing his Sunset High School baseball uniform.
