Description
Ray Rucker, veteran of 31 months service overseas, announced his candidacy for Tarrant County legislative representative from place 2. He is a senior at Texas Christian University and lives at Clarke Hall. He is shown standing against a bare wall and dressed in a button-up suit and tie. He is wearing eyeglasses. He would like to abolish the poll tax, rewrite the constitution in a constitutional convention. He also wants improvement of the state social security law, and equal educational opportunities for all Texans. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, May 16, 1946.
