Mrs. Hilma Condie is a switchboard operator at the OPA Rent Control Office. Her 2 year old daughter, Charmaine Cheri Condie came to work with her. Charmaine, sitting on a desk, is touching the switchboard while her mother holds a phone to her ear, while sitting in a desk chair. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, July 8, 1946.
