Description
The Fort Worth Cats played the Dallas Rebels Sunday at LaGrave Field. In the top of the ninth inning, number 3, Barney White, Cat third baseman, thought he had the bag blocked and tagged Rebel Frank Carswell for the game ending out. Umpire Ira Gordon ruled differently. White was tossed for protesting too vigorously. A few at bats later, Carswell scored the tying run for the Rebels. The Cats came back in the bottom of the ninth and won 8-7.
