    Description

The Fort Worth Cats faced off against the Dallas Rebels Saturday at LaGrave field. In the bottom the eighth inning the Rebels turned a double play. Rebel second baseman Gene Markland (left) scooped up Butch Woyt's grounder near the bag and flipped it to shortstop Red Davis who relayed to first. Jay Haney slid into second causing a cloud of dust, seconds too late.
