    Shown here is Private Claude H. Harmon Junior (Jr.). He is sitting on a stool, wearing military uniform and smiling. He entered service in April, is spending a delay en route with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. C. H. Harmon before reporting to Camp Stoneman, California. He completed his infantry basic training at Fort McClellan, Alabama. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, July 10, 1946.
