Description
Presley Darnell , left and Gerald Hooten who have been employed by the City Recreation Department to run the free amateur boxing program which will be offered in the parks through the summer. Darnell is a Golden Gloves champion. Hooten is a Texas A&M graduate with years of Army experience in recreation. Both men are standing next to each other against a wall wearing suits and smiling for the camera. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, May 15, 1946.
