    Description

O, Those Texas Boots -- Woody Herman, topflight bandleader whose orchestra played for the Fourth of July dance at the Casino, temporarily laid aside his famed clarinet as he stopped to admire these Texas boots in the Hotel Texas lobby upon his arrival Thursday. Woody Herman is shown standing, smiling, and looking at the display of boots. He is wearing a checkerboard patterned shirt. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, July 5, 1946.
