Tennis Semifinal Featured Today Is a Ph.D. Affair -- Two doctors of philosophy, Fred West of Texas Christian University (TCU) and Gerald Huff of Southern Methodist University (SMU), who has been on leave of absence teaching math at Texas, were to meet in Saturday's semifinal feature match of the men's singles division of the Texas sectional tennis tournament at Colonial Country Club. Doctor Huff is pictured here. A half bust photograph, facing front and smiling for the photo. He is a former North Side High School lad who won the Fort Worth city championship back in 1925, was a slight favorite among the experts, as result of his quarterfinal play over Gus Craigo, Paris.
