Description
Two Texas Wesleyan College (TWC) co-eds agreed it was a 15 or 16-year-old blond youth who early Friday morning, broke into the second story bedroom of one of them in Ann Waggoner Hall and struck Miss Frances Ross in the face several times before fleeing. Ross suffered a lacerated lip and a small bruise over one eye. She screamed and another resident, saw the fleeing youth in a hallway. Miss Ross was treated in the school infirmary. In an effort to prevent a recurrence of the prowling incident, the college had installed additional floodlighting on the campus. Miss Ross is a junior music student. In this picture, she is sitting on a bench, facing slightly right and smiling. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram, morning edition, June 30, 1946.
