    Brothers re-enlisted in Army left to right: Billy Joe Kimbell, John P. Kimbell and A. J. Kimbell. John and A. J. are veterans of World War II. The three Kimbell brothers from Kopperl, Texas chose Army life over that of the farm when they showed up at the recruiting station in the U.S. Courthouse. John, twenty-three, previously served with the 15th Army Air Force in Italy. A.J., twenty-one, saw action with an antiaircraft unit of the 6th Army in the South Pacific. Billy Joe, seventeen, is the youngest brother and enlisting in the Army for the first time. the brothers are wearing button-up shirts tucked into trousers. They are standing in front of a map.
