Description
The Houston Buffaloes were in Fort Worth, Texas, to face their division rival, the Fort Worth Cats. Lou Welaj, star shortstop for the Cats, showed off his base running as he went first to third on a single from Lou Ruchser. Welaj sent dirt flying when he slid feet first into the bag. Houston's third baseman, number 16, Bob Collett, is squatting to field the throw.
