Description
Otis E. Choate, forty, a Rock Island Railway brakeman for eighteen years drowned while swimming in Eagle Mountain Lake around midnight. Mr. Choate had gone to the lake with his wife and two brothers on an outing. His brothers brought him ashore and applied artificial respiration for almost two hours, along with three ambulance attendants. The drowning was ruled an accident.
