Description
Otto C. Grimmett, a construction worker at Arlington, Texas announced his candidacy for the Tarrant County Commissioner of Precinct 2. He has been street commissioner for Arlington, Texas, for two terms, and was federal superintendent of road construction and right-off-ways from 1935-1940. From 1940 to 1944 he was general foreman for the R. F. Ball Company then worked a year for North American Aviation Company at Grand Prairie. He returned to his former post after the war, and is now general foreman of labor and equipment for McCann Construction Company of Fort Worth. This is the first time he has sought a county office. Grimmett is a member of the Methodist Church, Knights of Pythias and Odd Fellows. In the image, he is standing against a wall wearing a suit and eyeglasses.
