    Mrs. C. U. Schopmeyer, was appointed acting director of the Community Chest after F. V. Thomson resigned. She is sitting at a table and wearing a collared shirt and blazer and her fingernails are painted. On a table behind her is an adding machine. A Community Chest worker for 13 years, Mrs. Schopmeyer served as executive secretary to Dr. Henry Bowden and assistant to Mr. Thomas.
