Mrs. Catherine Himmell, 21, is shown at the police station where she was taken after she fired three shots at her husband, Fred Himmell, 40. Himmell was struck once, but was not believed seriously hurt. In the image, Mrs. Himmell is wearing a dress with a bow-tie accent. She is sitting cross-legged in a chair with her hair pinned, and is looking at the camera. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, May 27, 1946.
