Description
Elmer the gander is pinch hitting, or rather pinch pecking for mother goose Alice at the Arlington farm of Mr. and Mrs. C. H. McDonald. The geese have six goslings, but Alice is sick and is confined to the coop. Elmer, a trifle touchy, probably because of unaccustomed duties, tries to peck all new comers. He chased the photographer atop a table right quick. The goslings are drinking water from the water bowl and Elmer is standing right next to them.
