Shortstop and third basemen for the Fort Worth Cats, Lou Welaj whips a throw side armed in warm-ups. He is standing in foul territory along the first base line, dressed in his Cats' home uniform. He has dirt on his pants, likely from a dive in the infield. Welaj bats left and throws right. Behind Welaj are the advertisements on the right field wall at LaGrave Field.
