Description
Jack Carter, left, attorney who resigned as county Democratic chairman, announced his candidacy for state Senate. He is one of seven men seeking the place now held by Jesse E. Martin. Brantley Pringle, 27-year-old attorney, was elected by the County Democratic executive committee to success Carter in office. Pringle has been associated in law practice with L. J. Wardlaw, state Democratic committeeman from this district, since returning from Navy service last November. new county Democratic chairman. Both men are standing in front of the wall wearing suits and smiling for the camera. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, May 19 and May 21, 1946.
