At Colonial, Sergeant James Brown, Fort Worth war veteran, gets hole-by-hole reports on his walkie-talkie and calls them off to Dr. Houston Small, who posts the scoreboard near No. 14 green. Sgt. Brown is wearing a military uniform. Dr Small is wearing a shirt, trousers and a hat. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, May 18, 1946.
