Description
A partial view of Johnson County Dairy Show and Rodeo. Fort Worth business men and officials of the Southwestern Exposition and Fat Stock Show received a hearty reception when they arrived in Cleburne for the Johnson County Dairy Show and Rodeo. In this picture W. R. Watt, newly elected president of the Fort Worth stock show, greets Mary Lee Bridges of Glen Rose, Texas, who rode in the Ceburne parade on Booger Bear, the champion stock horse at the March show in Fort Worth, Texas. The horse is owned by her father, Jack Bridges, Palomino and Quarter horse breeder. Mr. Watt is shaking hand with Mary. He is dressed in suits. Mary is in a cowgirl attire and shown seated on a horse. There is an unidentified cowboy on a horse in the background. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, May 17, 1946.
