    Service Men's Center, Fort Worth, Texas is closing. Pictured here are Mrs. Orville Tunstill and Corporal (Corp.) Tom Harrington. Both are shown standing near a window and shaking hands. Mrs. Tunstill is wearing a skirt, coat and a hat with veil and Corporal (Corp.) Harrington is in his military uniform. Mrs. Tunstill, director of Service Men's Center (SMC), as she prepares to close door there for last time and bids farewell to one of the last men to be served, Corporal (Corp.) Harrington of Boston, Massachusetts. The same friendly feeling that characterized all operations at the Service Men's center helped win a war by making visiting military men feel at home is shown in this picture. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, May 15, 1946.
