Vernon L. Clark, U. S. Treasury savings bond division director, said 'Back Your Future' slogan will replace the out-moded 'Back the Attack' as the theme of nation's first peacetime savings bond campaign to open June 6, 1946. He (center) is pictured here with two members, J. B. Thomas, left, a member of the bond sales committee, and at right, W. M. Massie, president of the Fort Worth Clearing House Association. All three men are shown seated at a dining table, dressed in suits and ties. There are variety of tableware and food on the table. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, May 14, 1946.
