Description

Scott I. McConnell, transportation manager for the Moslah Temple Shriners' special train that left at 11 a.m. Tuesdays for East Texas, flashes a "go-ahead" signal. The train, which will stop at Kilgore, Longview and Shreveport on the first postwar pilgrimage of the Shriners, left from the T&P Station. Mr. McConnell is shown standing on the train steps with his hand raised. He is dressed in a suit and wearing his Shriner hat. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram Morning Edition May 1, 1946.
