    Description

    Pictured here is U. D. Yates, 43, who shot and killed E. E. Harper, 64, in the doorway of his place of business in full view of his wife and other relatives in a parked car nearby. Mr. Yates and Mr. Harper appeared to be having a conversation before the incident occurred. Mr. Yates is shown standing in front of filing cabinets, facing front. He is dressed in button-up suits and tie. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, May 12, 1946.
