Description
Forest Park's fugitive sea lion, who escaped from his pool, gave local zoo and park board men the chance they had been waiting for to go seal hunting. J. E. Smith (left) and Clyde Smith (right) try to coax the fish-eater to the shore. Two men are wearing shirts, coats, trousers and hats. Clyde Smith is holding a bait, in his attempt to coax the seal while Blue is holding a rope, charging to capture it. There are few unidentified men in the background. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, May 12, 1946.
