    Description

    Colonel Nat S. Perrine, center, of Austin, Texas, commander of the 142nd Infantry, Texas National Guard, pointing out on the blueprint the stations of various units at the National Guard encampment near Alexandria, Louisiana. Also examining the blueprints are First Lieutenant O. H. Bryant, left, of Abilene, Texas, and Major Arthur W. Ball, right, of Amarillo, Texas. The three men were gathered at a conference of regimental officers at Hotel Texas. Lieutenant Bryant is wearing a suit and eyeglasses. Colonel Perrine is wearing a pinstripe button-down shirt and a striped necktie. Major Ball is wearing a button-down shirt, trousers and eyeglasses.
