Eight J. P. Elder Junior High School students are recipients of awards for outstanding citizenship and high scholastic achievements. Three of them are pictured here. They are, from left to right, Jean Clark, daughter of Mrs. Lilly R. Clark, 2604 Refugio, Fort Worth, Texas; Nell Sprinkle, niece of Mr. and Mrs. I. W. Rivers, 2504 Refugio, Fort Worth, Texas, and Dolores Blair, Daughter of Mr. and Mrs. I. W. Blair, 2728 McKinley, Fort Worth, Texas. Three girls are standing against a wall and smiling. Jean is the recipient of Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) award. Nell and Dolores are recipients of the Danforth Foundation award.
