Description
The annual elementary school relay carnival is being held Thursday and Friday at Farrington Field. Crouching in a runner's ready position, left to right, are Wallace Batchelor and Kayo Rankin. They are receiving advice from race veterans Alvin Chrisman and Mack Clark. Mr. Chrisman, of the school athletic department, is holding a starting pistol in the air. He is wearing a button-up shirt and trousers. Mr. Clark, of Texas Christian University, is dressed in a hat, button-up shirt and trousers.
