Description

Dave Franklin Jarvis, 24, charged with the murder of Ivan J. Poole, shown in handcuffs with Tarrant County Sheriff Rhodes. Poole was slain in Pantego and Jarvis surrendered evening of May 1st in Dallas. Sheriff Rodes is escorting Jarvis to the Tarrant County jail. The two are shown walking down a flight of stairs. Sheriff Rhodes is wearing a suit and Mr. Jarvis is wearing a collared shirt tucked into trousers. To the left is an unidentified man sitting on the edge of the stairs. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, May 2, 1946.
