    Deputy Sheriff Bill Shelton, left, and Deputy Sheriff Paul Williams, examine blood stained clothing believed to have been worn by a man who shot Ivan J. Poole near Arlington, Texas. The clothing was found in a creek on the east side of Hensley Field. Sheriff Shelton is holding a pair of trousers, a fountain pen and a money clip, and Sheriff Williams is holding a coat. The sheriffs are both wearing suits and fedoras. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, May 1, 1946.
