The Southwestern Social Science Association is holding their first postwar meeting at the Hotel Texas in Fort Worth, Texas. The organization's newly elected officers, left to right, are W. E. Gettys and Cortez A. M. Ewing. Mr. Gettys, president, is a professor in the University of Texas department of sociology. He is dressed in a three-piece suit. Mr. Ewing, vice president, is a professor in the government department of the University of Oklahoma. He is wearing a three-piece striped suit.
