    Description

Things got heated in the fourth inning of the Texas League opener between the Fort Worth Cats and the Dallas Rebels. Umpire Chet Fowler enlightened the Rebels' manager, Al Vincent, as to who's running the ball game. The argument came when batter Hal Hirshon, center, claimed interference. The Rebel in the on deck circle is leaning in on the conversation (far left). Umpire Fowler is wearing a hat, blazer, trousers, and holding his mask. The Rebels are dressed in their baseball uniforms. The jersey has the word "Dallas" diagonally across the chest. They are also wearing a cap that looks like the Detroit Tiger's. The Rebels are the minor league affiliate of the Detroit Tigers.
