Description

The Fort Worth Cats, a minor league affiliate of the Brooklyn Dodgers, are preparing for the upcoming 1946 season. For the first time during Spring Training, the bosses of the Cats gathered at LaGrave Field. Pictured left to right, are John Reeves, Manager Ray Hayworth and Bob Jones. Mr. Reeves, president of the team, is pointing out improvements to the Cats' home field. Hayworth is a former major league catcher and the team's new manager. He is visiting the park for the first time since 1934 when he played for Shreveport. Mr. Jones is the team's business manager. All three men are dressed in suits.
