Description

Army Day ceremonies are being held at the Fort Worth Army Air Field (FWAAF). During the festivities, medals were presented by Lieutenant General George E. Stratemeyer (far left). Standing next to the General is Colonel John G. Eriksen. They are shown saluting during the national anthem. General Stratemeyer is the head of the Air Defense Command. Colonel Eriksen is the commanding officer of the field. Both men are standing on a stage with various military personnel, dressed in their military uniforms.
