Description

Army Day ceremonies are being held at the Fort Worth Army Air Field (FWAAF). During the festivities, medals were presented by Lieutenant General George E. Stratemeyer, head of the Air Defense Command. Pictured left to right, seated, are Captain Marion D. Jones, Captain William B. Nance, Major Wayne M. Roberts, Mrs. Virginia H. Williamson, Major James F. Sapp, and Lieutenant Colonel Meredith B. Kendrick. All were all given awards for their service in the Army. There is a crowd of people surrounding the award recipients.
