Description
High School golfers are competing in a Saturday tournament at the Meadowbrook Country Club. Climbing a hill to the 17th green, left to right, are Bill Leahy, Doyle Gilliam, Bob Gilmartin, and Warren Shipman. They are shown carrying their bag of clubs as they make their way to the green. Leahy and Shipman are representing Arlington Heights High School. Gilliam and Gilmartin are both from Polytechnic High School. All four boys are dressed in golf attire. Gilliam shot a 75, leading to Polytechnic's victory.
