Residents throughout Fort Worth, Texas, are enjoying the first balmy day of the Spring season. The Parish family is having a picnic under a shade tree at Forest Park. Relaxing on a blanket are Private First Class D.L. Parish, Mrs. Parish, and their four-year-old son Jerry Parish. Private Parish is home from his station in Japan on a 30-day furlough. He is dressed in a button-up shirt, necktie, and trousers. Mrs. Parish is wearing a plaid dress. Jerry is dressed in a striped shirt and trousers.
