Description
Art. Margaret Kennard of Denton, Texas. Miss Kennard was a visitor to the art gallery in the public library where her sculpture, "Diorite", the kneeling, bowing figure of a woman, won first prize in the exhibit of West Texas artists. Miss Kennard is shown standing behind her sculpture with her hand on the podium the piece is displayed on. She is wearing a buttoned up jacket and a long skirt. In her other hand she is holding her dark gloves, while her clutch stays in her arm. She looks on at her art piece.
