Description
The Fort Worth Cats, a minor league affiliate of the Brooklyn Dodgers, are preparing for the upcoming 1946 season. During the first week of spring training, the Cats are "Going Western" at Parker Cullom Ranch near Decatur, Texas. Cowboy Dud Hobson is riding a horse at the right. He is attempting to make cowboys out of the city folks. The Cats, left to right on the fence, are Tommy West, E. L. George, Gene Massey, Clayton Roy, Raymond Teel and Johnny James.
