Description
Virgil Harris, a convict from Iowa engaged in a gun battle with two Texas State Patrolmen near Lewisville Saturday night. State Patrolman Banks is shown recovering at his home. He sustained a severe flesh wound in his right arm. His right arm is bandaged and propped on a pillow. His partner, Patrolman Beasley took a bullet to the foot but was saved from injury by a steel arch support.
