Description

The Fort Worth Cats, a minor league affiliate of the Brooklyn Dodgers, are preparing for the upcoming 1946 season. Players are shown arriving at the LaGrave Field Office. Office Secretary Ruth Dale is taking the names of early arrivals. The players, sitting left to right, are Eddie Yaeger, Joseph "Alphabet" Wojciechowski, Ray Anderson, and Dick Davidson. Miss Dale is wearing a ruffled blouse, a pinstripe blazer and matching skirt. Yeager, an outfielder, is dressed in a suit with a sports coat. Wojciechowski, an infielder, is wearing a collared shirt, sweater, and trousers. Anderson, catcher, is wearing a button-up shirt, blazer, and trousers. Davidson, a pitcher, is dressed in a collared shirt, jacket, and trousers.
