Politics and breakfast were mixed at the Blackstone Hotel before the meeting of the State Democratic Executive Committee was called to order by Harry L. Seay, left, Dallas, Texas, state chairman; others in the picture are, left to right, R. F. Peden, Houston, Texas, whose report on party voters and candidates was expected to settle the issue of whether Texas Regulars may participate; Nat H. Davis, committee member from Conroe, Texas and Cecil Lotief, Rotan, Texas, former member of the committee and a former legislator. They are all sitting at the square dining table and eating breakfast. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, February 22, 1946.
