Referee Sully Montgomery holds the raised hand Golden Gloves boxer Buddy Shumway, Dallas, Texas. Mr. Shumway was competing in the Texas Golden Gloves Tournament held at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum. Mr. Montgomery is wearing dark colored slacks and a dark shirt. Mr. Shumway is wearing boxing gloves and silk boxing shorts with a jacked draped over this shoulders. In the background is visible a trainer wrapping the hands of another boxer.
