Golden Gloves boxers J. T. Collins, Dallas, Texas and Pete Valdez. Beaumont, Texas in a match at the Texas Golden Gloves Tournament held at Will Rogers Coliseum. Mr. Collins earned the decision for third place and the bantamweight class. Both men are wearing boxing gloves, silk shorts and boxing shoes. They are fighting in a boxing ring; spectators may be seen just above the ring floor.
